LAST DAY OF THE DEAD TOUR?

LAST DAY OF THE DEAD TOUR?

Yea, it might be. It probably is. I gotta retire sometime and pandemic travel planning over the past two years is quite an incentive. I suspect that Oct. 28 - Nov. 5, 2022 may well be your last chance to see Dia de los Muertos with an Open Heart Tour. Here are some memories from the past DDM's in Oaxaca, my favorite place on earth:

Person made completely from marigolds at the Textile Museum, meant to charm for 3-4 days and then be swept away.

Cemetery in Teotitlan del Valle. The words are Zapotec and the young man who walked us around was so reverent about his ancestors. It was such a gift to see it through his eyes.

Street fun -- something every minute!

Dancing, always dancing.

Come with me to honor your dead, to celebrate the fact you're still alive, and to feed all your senses (seven moles. enuf said.)
